“They were conquerors, and for that you want only brute force--nothing to boast of, when you have it, since your strength is just an accident arising from the weakness of others.”

Description of Venue

Mood: Tension, Darkness, Desperation , Sacrifice

Themes: Unconventional war, Holy crusade, One step forward two steps back

San Diego has been seen as an outpost of the Sabbat for years, across the border is Mexico and the Sabbat stronghold of Tijuana. The camarilla has been vigilant about paying attention to the border and has effortlessly repelled boarder crossing parties for decades in the times of prosperity the Camarilla has grown fat and complacent, it is at this time the Sabbat strikes.

Storytelling Mechanics

All characters with a path other than humanity must have a low approval entered in the database with the following information as a minimum:

  • Describe what the path means to the character
  • Explain the path’s hierarchy of sins

Venue Emphasis

This VSS will emphasize packs. They are the cornerstone of the Sabbat structure in and around San Diego. They are expected and encouraged to campaign actively and bid the lowest amount of resources to take any given area to minimize loss.

Due to game schedule, most character interactions will be handled via soft rp at http://forum.sdlarp.net or downtime actions submitted via email to the VST.

Proxy Rules

All proxies must be received at least 48 hours in advance of the game. Proxies must include:

  • Complete character sheet, preferably in Excel format
  • Full xp log
  • Detailing of what the character intends to accomplish and how they intend to do it
  • Player’s presiding VST contact information

Travel Risks

Within San Diego proper, the Camarilla is fully entrenched after decades of sitting on top. They are, as a whole, complacent but individuals still actively monitor and secure their borders. Please contact the VST for up to date travel risks.

Experience Award Guidelines:

  • 6 xp per game
  • Potential of 1xp additional for costuming at ST discretion
  • 2 xp per downtime, maximum of 4 xp per month for downtimes
  • Proxy characters do not receive xp

Other Policies

Your Domain may have other policies that need to be outlined here, such as requiring the use of cards as opposed to dice for challenges. It’s better to err on the side of caution and include a policy than to catch someone flat-footed.
