Not Every Cruel Act Deserves to be Noticed

This is a story is of a 17th Century American born into a successful Rhode Island shipping family, whose prosperity, love, family, and health were eroded by a would be dominitor who sought to test his resolve. Everything was torn and stripped from this man. Despite his agony, financial and personal loss, and horrific illness, bitter hatred and avarice kept him clawing his way back up, every time his watcher twisted life to beat him down. On the very edge of death, the monster came for him when he had nothing left, ghouling him into eternal service.

It was his destiny to be born into nobility, yet years later despite his extensive grooming and training to walk another path, in a story few know this man became an unlikely Gangrel carrying the new pseudonym, Equinox.

An unusual mix of refinement and savagery, with each passing decade he steadily devolves into the beast. Finding power in passion, hatred and anger, his last strong connections to his humanity are all he has left of the man he once was. Equinox currently resides in the bayous near Houston, an echo of strength and a faded aristocracy.

In short order he has managed to organize his blood into a collective for the good of the Tower in the face of recent tribulations. Most Gangrel can fight. It is those who can lead who truly impress me." - David Daniel Steiner

For it is only when you push a being BEYOND its furthest limitations that a true understanding of who they are or what they are capable of is possible. Those who have never been broken, have never truly been tested... for only a fractured soul knows, without question, the burden it can bear." - An observation from Phillip Avery Redgrave

  • "Meeting with Clanhead Equinox was a bonafide Experience with a capital "E". I talked with the man, but the words were more...to put me at ease than anything else, I think. He didn't need them; just wanted to get a look at me. Stared right at me and I felt judged in a way I can't rightly describe. I was deeply aware that if something didn't smell right, I wouldn't be walking out of there. Strangely, that didn't make me afraid--it made me eager to find out the result, because if I died in that room, I knew that it would be the right thing to happen.
